Helen Stacey, Head of Operations at Team Recruitment comments “although its good news that salary increases for women were slightly higher than those for men, we are still some way behind due to decades of unequal pay. In my opinion, anyone doing a job – regardless of sex or age – should be paid the same as their colleagues doing the same job. For example the national minimum wage is currently lower for people aged under 22 at £4.83
ph compared to £5.80 (due to go up in October 2010) for over 22 year olds. However at Team Recruitment we pay the same rate to everyone regardless of age. If an 18 year old is doing the same job as a 24 year old then it cant be right that they are paid a different rate. All employers have a duty to ensure that their personnel are paid the correct and going market rate for the job they do regardless of sex”

By the time it came to the last 4 teams playing our clients were becoming really competitive! The prizes are being delivered by Friday 23rd July with the clients being delighted with their wins” Steve from Eurotek said “yes I am extremley delighted, especially as the food at Cassons is wonderful. Two in three firms find it hard to recruit | News | Recruiter.
Helen Stacey, Head of Operations and Business Development at Team Recruitment comments on the article: “We are starting to see some positive signs of movement in the right direction in the employment world both in temporary or permanent markets. Clients should remember that a lot of candidate’s will only register with agencies for work and rely solely on us for finding them work. Therefore we often have applicants available for jobs that perhaps wouldn’t apply direct to clients. Clients should also remember that particularly if they are recruiting for permanent staff, it doesn’t cost them anything until they take some one on. So if they place a vacancy with an agency and the agency puts forward cv’s and arranges interviews but the client then finds someone direct they

aren’t liable to pay the agency a fee” “We are always willing to talk to clients about the local employment marketplace, trends and our findings so please give the Team a call on 01202 445700″

If you are looking for work (or know anyone that is) then we probably have a job for you!
Our clients have seen an increase in demand for their products over the last few days/weeks and this has meant they have needed extra staff to help cope with the demand.
We are currently recruiting for:-
- Solderers
- Surface Mount Assemblers
- Stores people/Warehouse work
- Labourers
- Packers
- Fork lift Truck Drivers
- Production staff
- Grounds Maintenance staff
All of the above positions are temporary but a lot of them are long term with a strong possibility of leading to permanent work. We also have temporary jobs that are just for odd days or a few Weeks which would be ideal for students.
Helen Stacey – Head of Operations comments “it doesn’t have to be daunting to register with an agency, all we need is for applicants to fill in a basic application form, and provide us with some documents confirming their ID as well as their bank details, NI number, and reference details. Once we have all of this we can start them in work pretty much immediately. The teams in both offices are very friendly and approachable and can all remember what it was like to register with a recruitment agency for the first time! I can still remember that feeling from 22 years ago, so we aim to treat everyone as we would wish to be treated. We have lots of work on at the moment so even if the job you want isn’t listed on our website its worth giving us a call – remember it costs nothing but your time to register”
