Are you an ambitious and talented Senior Systems IT Administrator looking for a new and challenging opportunity? Do you have strong technical experience providing Infrastructure Systems administration support? If so, you may be just the person we are looking for!

I am on the lookout for experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join my client in Wimborne. My client is an expanding and stable industry leader in its field, part of what makes them so successful is down to their highly motivated and dynamic staff. You will be responsible for providing IT assistance across all aspects of the business and provide back up and support to the other members of the IT team. You will be supporting and maintaining the server operating systems, network infrastructure, switches and firewalls, plus general maintenance of all IT-related hardware/software

Responsibilities:
*Configure and maintain servers and workstations in both physical and virtual instances.
*Support and maintain our WAN/LAN network environment, including VLANs
*Ensure the security of data, network access and backup systems are protected and resilient.
*Troubleshoot complex issues by analysing root causes and evaluating options.
*Provide support and advice for end users, logging all issues on the IT ticketing system.

Requirements:
*Hands-on technical experience with experience in providing infrastructure systems administration
*Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems. Understanding of security and networking concepts, DNS, DHCP, remote access and VLANs. Extensive knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy Management and Implementations. MS Office 365 administration
*Well organised, enthusiastic and self-motivated. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Well-presented and personable. An interest in IT, computers and technology

Working Hours: 08:30-17:00 Monday to Thursday, 08:30-15:45 Friday (45 min lunch)
