Quality Engineer, Ferndown

Are you a Quality Engineer with a fabrication/ manufacturing background? Are you looking for a new challenge? This a brand new role within the company and the Client is looking for a forward thinking candidate that will be hands on. Ideally you will be an experienced Quality Engineer who is able to use previous knowledge and experiences to ensure that all the processes and policies are put in place.

The right Candidate will be responsible for all inspection activity in the workshops, goods in and dispatch.
Carry out first off inspection & produce reports and PAPPs to customer requirements.
Support and coach production operators in inspection ensuring they fully understand customer product quality requirements.
Record all non-conforming products from either customer, supplier, and internal in the Companies manufacturing system.
Provide correlated monthly management information for all aspect of quality.
Carryout and manage all calibration requirements
Be the principal point of contact for customer and suppliers for all quality related matters.
Maintain and improve inspection & quality methods to improve overall product and performance quality.
Ensure ISO9001 procedures are maintained and implemented throughout the company.
