Finance Assistant, Poole

I am currently seeking an experienced Financial Assistant to join a bespoke retail company in the Poole area on permanent basis.

This is not a corporate accountancy environment and runs on an ethos of it being a welcoming and friendly team environment. They are seeking someone who is a good communicator - the position involves interacting with everyone from employees to suppliers and working closely with other key stakeholders within the business.

The company is always striving and breaking new grounds, this role has come about due to expansion.

You will be required to work Monday - Friday between the hours of 9-5:30.

I need someone who is able to:
*Set up and maintain financial procedures
*Collect and maintain all financial data entered to ensure it is true and correct with no errors
*Purchase ledger activities, processing invoices, account receivable and bank reconciliations.
*Support with journal entries - adjusting where necessary.
*Support in the reporting and presenting of information at meetings and to the management team.
And someone who has:
*Energy, flexibility, innovation and self-motivation
*Proven experience of financial administration.
*Previous experience with the Sage 50.
*Be working towards a AAT qualification or relevant.

This is an important role supporting the entire finance function and beyond with aspects of administration and accounting tasks.
