Manufacturing Lead, Poole

Are you an experienced Manufacturing Manager looking for a new challenge?

We have a fantastic opportunity to join a world leading, global company based here in Poole in a senior role.

The role:
To coordinate and promote specific manufacturing expertise including scheduling administration, coordinating continuous improvement, defining a process of incoming activity assessment to meet the customers delivery and quality requirements.

Your responsibilities:
- implement lean activities and drive change (must be able to demonstrate examples of this previously)
- monthly KPI reporting
- be a part of the sales process, giving expertise on manufacturing side
- implement manufacturing plans and improvement initiatives
- prepare project timelines and identify all resource requirements
- support and participate in continuous improvement
- ensure standardization of tasks and processes
- identify opportunities to add value
- people management

Personal attributes:
- dynamic, credible and professional
- flexible and adaptable to change
- good understanding of complex processes
- good decision maker
- good business acumen, knowledgeable in policies and procedures, technologies etc

This role would suit someone with an extensive background in a high toleranced manufacturing environment. A machining background would be very useful but not essential.

There could be some travel involved, both nationally and within Europe.
