Eight months on from joining award-winning recruitment specialist TeamJobs, Fadi Jawish is driving the expansion of the company’s IT & Digital division. Syrian-born Fadi joined Poole and Bournemouth-based TeamJobs having run the commercial desk for one of its competitors.
“It’s been a busy but very exciting eight months. We are placing candidates with software/web development and IT skills into managed services and commercial organisations across the South, London and nationwide and with the tech industry in Bournemouth and Poole set for continued growth in 2018, we are preparing to play an even bigger part in facilitating that growth.”
Fadi came to the UK alone from Syria in 2008 at the age of 16 and went on to attain a degree in Project and Operations Management from Bournemouth University. The Arabic and Spanish speaker also received a basketball scholarship for two consecutive years while studying.
“I literally hit the ground running at TeamJobs but facing challenges has been what my life has been all about so far. The company is well known for excellence in commercial, industrial and executive search recruitment, and I’m proud to say the IT division is now also making a real name for itself.
“As with all TeamJobs divisions our goal is to add value to our clients businesses by working with them in partnership and by only putting forward candidates of whom we have an in-depth knowledge.
“We are looking forward to helping more businesses grow their IT capabilities in 2018 and beyond.”
Jason Gault, Managing Director of TeamJobs, said:
“Fadi is a powerhouse of talent who has built a strong network of new connections, enabling us to significantly grow our IT client base. He’s also a very charismatic guy with a hunger to know all he can about the industry in which he has immersed himself.
“Every week he impresses our clients with his ability to fit the ideal candidates to the roles they need to grow their businesses and with him at the helm I know there are exciting times ahead for TeamJobs IT & Digital division.”
