From an idea in the TeamJobs boardroom to massively exceeding our target for 4 incredible local charities.

Easter Eggs at TeamJobs with the whole team in HQ, Poole

Here at TeamJobs we love to support local charities as a company and always support our clients’ chosen charities when we can.

We decided in a manager’s meeting one morning that we were going big with our Easter charity appeal. We decided to set a target of 250 easter eggs to donate to the amazing local charity, The Dorset Children’s Foundation, not knowing if this target was too steep. Little did we know at that point, we would absolutely smash this target and were then able to help an additional 3 local Charities.

We reached out to clients asking for support with many reaching out to us after seeing our social media posts wanting to donate whatever they could.

Couldn’t deliver to us? No problem! We jumped in the TeamJobs cars and collected eggs across the country.

The collection of chocolate in our boardroom was growing daily and weekly (pure torture for an office full of chocolate-loving ladies!). It was growing and at such a rapid speed, we went from 50 to 200 in a matter of a few days, so close to our target, we were hoping we could still achieve it.

Once the collection got over 250, we were in absolute shock at what we could achieve together with clients, candidates, friends, and TeamJobs staff. It then grew to 350, 400, 450, and we can proudly say we delivered a whopping total of 491 Easter Eggs to 4 local charities.

Jason, our CEO, and Lucy Eaton, Operations Director, went out to all four charities to deliver the donations and the feeling you get from this is unmatched. Knowing you can make a tiny difference in someone’s day, there really is no feeling like it.

We really were blown away by the generosity of everyone who donated. THANK YOU!
