Senior Corporate and Partnership Officer
TeamJobs are partnered with a local Charity based in the beautiful rural town of Lulworth. This role is Remote, but the successful candidate will be required to attend meetings once per quarter at the office in Dorset – Travel expenses and accommodation will be covered!
You will be responsible for developing and implementing a corporate and commercial fundraising strategy to deliver sustainable income growth. We will need you to lead on identifying and developing new partnership opportunities and relationships. This will include researching, pitching, influencing, and negotiating to significantly increase income for the charity. You will need to manage existing corporate partners to retain, develop and grow long term income.
What your role with involve:
- Write and update contracts and agreements, liaising with the Senior Finance Manager and Grant & Trust Fundraising Manager and Head of Fundraising.
- Support new commercial fundraising opportunities, writing project plans and drafting budgets to be agreed with the Grant & Trust Fundraising Manager and Head of Fundraising.
- Lead on the delivery of a first-class funder experience for current and prospective corporate partners and supporters including proactive relationship building.
- Monitor income targets and activities for Trading and Corporate fundraising including reporting to and attendance at the Company Board Meetings.
- In conjunction with the Digital Manager, manage the company website shop portals and commercial partnerships to ensure a good level of royalties, proactive marketing, and supply of ethically sourced and sustainable goods.
- Identify funding opportunities in line with the company’s strategic direction, documents and business need ensuring eligibility, ethics, and due diligence - generating leads and developing plans to secure support.
- Update and maintain records of all business and corporate approaches, communications and agreements on the CRM and ensure effective use of the database for fundraising planning.
- Support the Grant & Trust Fundraising Manager and the Head of Fundraising in other areas of fundraising and membership engagement as required
Skills which will be required:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
- Proven experience of working in a similar role
- Proven successful experience in corporate fundraising environment generating significant income
- Proven ability to manage and develop senior and diverse relationships
- Practical experience of using charity CRM systems
- Knowledge of GDPR legislation and how it applies in a fundraising context
- Knowledge of the laws or regulations that apply specifically to fundraising
- Ability to develop, plan and implement fundraising plans and strategies
- Experience of effectively stewarding corporate relationships
- Experience of creating and managing corporate membership scheme
