Temporary doesn't mean temporary

When people hear temporary work, they often think exactly that.

Temporary.

Something to do for a few weeks until a “proper” job comes along.

But we see a very different side of it.

Every week, we have people start temporary assignments that turn into something much bigger.

A few weeks becomes a few months.

A temporary position becomes temp-to-perm.

And sometimes someone who simply needed a job ends up finding a company they stay with for years.

Temporary work can open doors.

It can get you back into work after a break, give you experience in a new industry, help you build confidence or simply let you try a company before committing to something permanent.

And it works both ways.

Businesses get the opportunity to actually see someone doing the job – not just interview them for an hour and hope they've made the right decision.

Some of our best success stories have started with:

“It's only temporary.”

So if you're job hunting and automatically scrolling past temporary roles, maybe don't be so quick to rule them out.

Your next temporary job could end up being anything but.
